The year number changed, but your feelings remain the same. (2/9)

[Contains text I wrote and did not copy from anywhere]. The year number changed, but in a week, your longings, achievements, fears, and desires will be the same ones you had at the end of 2023.

Goals are very important to have a path and a purpose… but overly rigid or unrealistic goals, besides being impractical, only generate frustration and reduce your self-esteem.

So, set small goals like: I will try to buy fewer things I won’t use, I will include 2 more days of physical exercise per week, I will try to take better care of my sleep, spend more time with friends or family, I will include at least one hobby in my routine, I will eat more vegetables, I will organize my finances better, I will tidy up my closets, I will use sunscreen more rigorously, I will moisturize my cuticles… I don’t know, small goals that will bring satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment, but won’t exhaust your energy. Because only the number changed, time keeps passing and passes faster and faster.

I haven’t stopped to set specific New Year’s goals yet, but from time to time I set a new goal or objective. Some I can even recycle, because over the years, how many goals have been left behind?

Above all, look at yourself with kindness in 2024 and value who you are, with every little flaw or difficulty, because they are part of your whole. 🩷🩷
