Working with women’s health means understanding that care goes beyond the surface, or the main reason that brought the patient to my office. As a plastic surgeon who works with breast aesthetic surgery and reconstructions after implant removal and significant weight loss, it is also very important to know how to evaluate, guide, and refer, when necessary, to a mastologist any suspicious case of breast cancer.

By the way, in your annual women’s health routine, you should already be following up with a gynecologist, right?? Early diagnosis is the most important tool we have!! But sometimes due to the rush of life or excess of tasks, I end up being the doctor that patient sees during the period, who hasn’t?
