Today’s #tbt is recent: from the volleyball championship at @ciaathleticamorumbi @morumbishopping with a strong sense of nostalgia because, believe it or not: this wonderful court has been deactivated. 🥲

I don’t think there is a parking space or commercial decision important enough for this. Sports like volleyball are so important for quality of life and physical and mental health, and even in a capital city like São Paulo, it is not easy to find places where you can practice this sport on a court and with safety.

During the months I attended the court, I witnessed people of various ages, but many adults who, after intense work routines, went to volleyball at night as a way to de-stress in the classes of @robertocaxias.
My team didn’t win, but we were victorious in everything that matters in sports: joy, friendships, fellowship. And as for the (few) UNnecessary people that this coexistence brought, I have no comments, only advice: the world turns and spins like a ball. One day you attack, the next you defend, you set the ball for someone to score, but without the other people you don’t even play, let alone win…
