It is a fact that whenever possible, we avoid creating scars without a clear objective. But it is also true that it is rare for a technology to completely replace skin excision when it is necessary.
In areas where a scar is unfavorable, or undesired, or even to improve the quality of the remaining skin, laser can be used, as well as other technologies. But do not place the responsibility of completely resolving excess skin on any technology. Consider it as one more tool in the treatment arsenal, just like the application of biostimulators, whether facial or body.
Laser, like all treatments that aim at collagen production and improvement of skin tone, depends heavily on the individual’s body response, so a similar treatment may have different results in different people, even if they looked “similar” before the treatment.
Tag that friend who is always looking for a “miracle” 😅.
