In the last photo, there is something many people wonder about, which can be corrected during abdominoplasty… an umbilical hernia 😎 This one was so cute it deserved a portrait. It is a fat that comes out of the inside of the abdomen through a small hole in the muscle. It appears after pregnancies, obesity, or at birth, and can cause pain during physical activities, grow over time, requiring surgical correction.

In this case, it was necessary to remove the patient’s previous navel and recreate it with a #neoumbigo, through the skin that we fix to the muscle. In other cases, we can keep the previous navel, which will be reconnected to the abdominal skin, and we only close the small hole from the side.
