I am deeply privileged to live the dream I had as a child: becoming a doctor (right after giving up on being an astronaut).

Even while living a dream, reality still knocks on the door from time to time. Medicine demands a great deal from us daily and presents many challenges that may lie beyond our control or human comprehension. In those moments, I remind myself: I am living what I have always dreamed of, and I carry the dreams of many who could not realize them. So, no, it will not always be easy, but it will always be with the purpose of doing my best.

One of the greatest sources of pride in my life is being able to say: I am a doctor!! Because I know the weight and effort involved in this achievement. ❤️
