Hello, everyone! A quick question: how much can I remove in a lipedema liposuction? This is a question I get asked a lot: can we treat one region or another in the same surgery? So, we have a limit of about 7% of body weight in aspirate volume that we can remove. In practice, if a person weighs 70 kilograms, we can remove about 4.9 liters. This includes a little blood and fat in the volume we remove. So, it’s not a fixed amount. We also see, depending on some surgical issues, if for that patient it’s not possible to remove that much fat. Regarding the areas, we have an area of about 40% of the body area that we can treat in the same surgery. So, even if it’s a little in each region, I can’t do a full-body liposuction, right?
