Do you know the origin of “Hug Day”?
This day emerged in 2004 in Australia when a man launched the “Free Hugs Campaign”, distributing hugs on the streets of Sydney.

This year, May 22 gains a new meaning for everyone. How we miss what we have already lived. We Brazilians, who are a very “huggable” people (ok, distributing hugs on the street is too much), are being forced to adapt to this new and strange reality.

Who during this quarantine has not had the impulse to hug a loved one you haven’t seen for a long time, and only halfway through realized you couldn’t anymore?

We don’t know when things will return to normal.
We don’t know what the new normal will be.
