Being a Plastic Surgeon is not something that only happens when you are working. (1/2)

Being a Plastic Surgeon is not something that only happens when you are working. You are a plastic surgeon during all moments of your day. You observe all the shapes of the world and how they perform a function. You are interested in proportions, harmony, the logic in the shapes of nature and everything created by human beings.

A plastic surgeon must first and foremost be a passionate being. They cannot be just an artist because they must first be a doctor. Being a doctor, they must let their artist side flow.

There is no procedure or surgery that is the same as another. Therefore, evolution is daily, hourly. A plastic surgeon who practices their craft with love realizes that each surgery changes the person they are, shaping their concepts and skills. What is studied in books and articles is polished in the reality of everyday life.

It is also a gift. It is no use doing all the residencies, going through at least these 11 years of preparation, mastering the concepts in books if in your essence you are not a plastic surgeon. It is something very human and constantly marked in who you are. Without this gift and this passion, the person will automatically drift away from the routine as a surgeon and do other things in their life.

And live life where God’s will sends me… I cannot imagine myself in another mission in this life than being proudly a PLASTIC SURGEON.
