A little about me. 👩🏼‍⚕️

For those of you who are just arriving here, a little about me. 👩🏼‍⚕️

I am from Florianópolis-SC, but for over 17 years I have chosen the city of São Paulo to be my home, and I have always been welcomed here. I am André’s wife, Arthur’s godmother, and mother to Milky and Kitty. 👱🐱🐱

At 17 years old, I began my undergraduate degree in Medicine at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, where I graduated with honors for academic performance.🏅 I then completed my residencies in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery, as well as my Master’s degree, at the Federal University of São Paulo.

I have always believed in Plastic Surgery as a complete specialty, and therefore, from the beginning, I have been involved in major surgeries (such as body, breast, and post-bariatric) as well as facial cosmetic procedures (injectables, peels) and facial surgeries. I believe I would be a bit frustrated if I had to perform only one procedure, or only one type of surgery, for the rest of my life 😄. Challenges are what drive me, and I am always happy when I am learning and teaching.

In 2019, lipedema found me in my office, as I already knew a bit about it in theory, and since then it has been a very important focus of my practice as a plastic surgeon, to provide relief, quality of life, and fulfillment to patients through science.

I am much more than that, and I always show a little bit of who I am here.

It will be a pleasure to welcome you to my office. And I hope I can be a tool to make dreams come true in your life. ❤️
