Which of the two photos did you like more? (1/3)

Which of the two photos did you like more? They are not from today, but I was looking through my phone and loved these photos to illustrate our Friday 😁😍 (thanks to the shot by @patmaltauro👌)

The most important one is the second photo, which shows the laser device. But in the first one, I felt “gross,” important, adult, and focused 😜, so I put it first. They illustrate the #lipolaser procedure well.

The colorful screen in the first photo shows the images from the infrared thermal camera (like the ones that film people in the dark at #bbb 😂) that assesses skin heating as we pass the laser, and the program creates this color gradient according to the skin heat appearing on the iPad screen. It is not necessary for the laser application because we have safety parameter ranges and indications, based on our experience and the manufacturer’s, but it is very illustrative for us to see the functioning of the techniques.

The laser releases energy that contracts collagen and elastic fibers, and after surgery, it also stimulates the production of new collagen fibers to improve skin laxity after liposuction, meaning the effect is not immediate but increases months after surgery.

The surgeon’s care and the correct technique are fundamental in this procedure, which is one more tool we can associate with liposuction. It ends up having a longer surgical time than isolated liposuction, but with an integrated team, we can optimize it a lot! 😁
