One year of our joy. Little Arthur came into our lives like a ray of light. In a time when the world went through so much sadness, he came to always remind us how to smile.

He was Mom Thais’s special little gift, and every time I saw happiness on her face, even amidst the exhaustion, I thought: “How much life needed him.” It is such a great and beautiful dedication that it is a pleasure to just stand to the side, quietly observing how they were made for each other. And Dad Rafael’s face, so proud, happy that his baby is beautiful, cheerful, full of health, friendly, and already imagining a future anesthesiologist (or guitarist, or both). 🥳🎵.

And Auntie here, along with Uncle André, are already imagining all the outings and all the delicious things we will do with him (yes, we get the good part), but we hope to teach him everything too, and he can be sure that we will always be there for him ❤️.

It was a beautiful little party, and the party continues every day, including now, with a baby and a little dog in my lap while I write this post. This is the portrait of love 😍😍
